Olivia Grace's Newborn Photo Session with Meagan Stone Photography

Today, Olivia Grace is 2 weeks old! I remember anxiously awaiting her arrival wondering what it would be like to be a mom of two girls and how I would adjust, and now I couldn’t imagine life without her. I may be biased, but Liv is so amazing and has brought so much joy to all of our lives. Madison is adjusting beautifully as well, she adores her little sister. Her favorite thing to do is tell us “hold you” and that’s our cue to let her “hold” her sissy.

Olivia Grace is weighing in at 7 lbs 3 oz. She made it back to her birthweight by the time she was one week, which was definitely a win for us! As a mom, you will be surprised at the new things that you bring you the most excitement. Liv sleeps and nurses like a true champion, but she for sure has her days and nights mixed up. It actually works out though because during the day while Liv sleeps, I am able to give Madison some undivided attention! Liv makes sure she’s bonding with whoever is up with her at night. Long stretches of sleep are hard to come by because I am up nursing Olivia every 2 hours. I am fortunate to have an amazing husband, mom and mother-in-law who allows me to sleep when I can by staying up some nights, the help definitely hasn’t gone un-noticed.

Newborns don’t do much besides eat and sleep, but you better believe we squeeze in photo shoots as well! We took newborn pictures with Meagan Stone Photography when she was 1 week old and it was an extremely pleasant experience. It is recommended that newborn photos be taken when the baby is between 5-10 days old because they are still pretty sleepy and easily manipulated for cute pictures and it’s typically before baby acne presents.

Meagan Stone Photography gives the option of an in-home or in-studio session which is great for new moms who may not want to go out with a baby so early on. She is also a gallery designer who offers consultations for wall galleries, where she sends you wall gallery options for your home and will even come to your home to install them. Often times beautiful portraits are captured and go unprinted and stashed away in our phones, so this is something great to take advantage of. Meagan was a doll to work with, she captured my vision perfectly, and handled Olivia beautifully. I think her nickname should be "baby-whisperer." She had the sweetest baby props and had the patience that is required for adorable pictures!

I am so excited that we found Meagan Stone Photography. You can’t beat the high-quality work and the fast turnaround. I thought it would take at least 3-4 weeks to get the images back and its only been 1 week and we got them back already! Below, I am sharing the images that were captured during our newborn session!
