Ever since Maddy was born, I have absolutely loved playing dress up with her and Lord knows she hasn’t been camera shy. I have always had a love for shopping, but when I found out I was having our baby girl, my love for shopping was taken to new heights. I realized just how dangerous Instagram would be for me and our bank account haha. The transition was real. I literally unfollowed so ton of wedding Instagram pages, and in exchange, followed a ton of Instagram pages that tailored more towards baby fashion. There are so many different vendors out there, but I for sure have my go-tos for cute bows and accessories, toddler apparel, and cute shoes!
I still do find a ton of super cute outfits and shoes from stores like Gap, Old Navy, and Carters. I love a good sale, so most times when they have a nice sale going, I indulge. These are places I usually go for Madison’s everyday attire. When we want to take it up a notch for a special occasion or family outing, we shop at online boutiques, as well as local boutiques. While the list I include is certainly not all inclusive, I will share with you my top 5 favorite baby clothing and accessory vendors of May:
High Cotton Smocked – Hands down my absolute go-to for all things smocked, preppy and cute. They offer high quality, affordable girls and boys baby apparel, shoes, and accessories. The owners are two down-to-earth mommas, who provide the best customer service and the most unique, adorable smock options. They also offer beautiful customizations and will work with you day in and day out to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for, not to mention, the turnaround for items on hand are very fast. Apollo & Wynn – If you know me, you know I am a huge fan of hair bows and accessories. Since Madison was born, I have tried all sorts of different cute and sassy bows and headbands. It wasn’t until about 2 weeks ago that I found the hair accessory company of my dreams. Apollo and Wynn cater to babies, children and even adults with homemade hair accessories that are sure to make a statement. I wish I had found this company sooner, but better late than never! These bows add that extra something to complete any outfit!

Better Baby Boutique – This online boutique is EVERYTHING. I searched high and low both locally and online for a baby boutique that offered trendy and fashionable baby clothes. I found myself searching Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus baby clothing sections, but I never really found what I was looking for. Many of the online websites that I did find, had ridiculously long shipping time frames. So when I found Better Baby Boutique on Instagram, it was literally a match made in heaven. Although they don’t offer mommy and me outfits, there are so many great chic and trendy outfits, that you are sure to find the adult versions of these outfits in someone’s women apparel boutique. All of the products are super high quality, ship within 24 hours, and are extremely affordable.

Layne & Mae – I found Layne and Mae on the explorer page of Instagram. I am a SUCKER for floral and sassy prints, so when I scrolled through their IG page, I immediately fell in love. All things are custom made to order, high quality and are absolutely perfect. Every time a new idea is posted on their page, I find myself requesting an invoice for another must have item. If you are looking for something original, chic, and simply adorable, you must check out this amazing vendor!

Lulu & Bean – Although they do have a presence on Instagram and Facebook, they have an actual store front located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! Lulu & Bean is Baton Rouge’s one-stop shop for all high-end children’s resale, custom monograming & embroidery, and earth friendly toys and gifts. I can always count of them for the best gift ideas and last minute finds. I have gotten a ton of precious outfits for both Madison and our nephew Carson and I have never been disappointed. I am the least creative person when it comes to embroidery ideas, but they are never out of new ideas! Not only is everything absolutely adorable, the owner and employees are the sweetest and make Maddy and I feel extremely welcome every time we stop by. It is hands down, my favorite store front boutique ever!
